As you may have heard, Singapore is now on Orange Alert, stepping up precautionary efforts to halt the spread of the H1N1 virus (otherwise known as Swine Flu) here.
Of course, our class 2A2 will do our part to hold off this horrible pig disease to the best of our abilities
Professional students of 2A2, kindly:
1. Ensure your ODT is working AND in your pencil case,
2. Make a habit of washing your hands thoroughly often (especially after touching dirty surfaces) with liquid detergent or disinfectant,
3. Keep yourselves in tip-top condition by having a balanced diet, regular exercise, taking some Vitamin C supplement, and doing all your homework on time (err… the last one was extra, though it IS good for your health!) and
4. Stay home if you have fever (above 37.6 deg C), cough, sore throat, runny nose and/ or breathlessness.
If you are unwell and unable to come to school, please either call your classmate in the Class Relay System, or email me to let me know

Hi guys,
I know the last two days were stressful ones… While I know that it is necessary to say and do what I said and did, do know that I did not enjoy it: it was something that had to be done.
And you know what? Although I was disappointed that things turned out this way, and was doubting about my decisions about the class, I realise that I am not wrong. In fact, I am so much more confident that I am right!
Right about 2A2. Right about you being professional students. Right about you guys being FULL of POTENTIAL. Right about you guys being great students. Right about us being a family. Right about being here as your form teacher. Right about being your friend.
I care very very much about each of your well-being, not just your education (which is just one part of your entire life), but also about what kind of a person you grow up to be.
That is why I got so angry.
I got angry because I care. Strange isn’t it
Well, it isn’t quite enough for me to just get angry. I hope each of you have learnt something about being in a class and being in a family. When something happens to one or some of us (be it good or bad), it happens to ALL of us We’re all in the same dragon boat
So here’s what I’ll do here. I’ll remind you all again… remind you who you are: PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS!
